F-stops, ISO, exposure, and lighting are a mystery to most that use their “point and shoot” cameras when attending special events like weddings, bar mitzvahs, and anniversaries. Not so for Tani Dugger, owner of Insight Photography located in Belchertown, MA. Tani is a graduate of the prestigious Hallmark Institute of Photography and has been “behind the camera” for as long as she can remember. “I was always the one that had a camera at high school dances, and parties. I just loved capturing the events and moments that were so much fun for my friends and I.” said Dugger.
After a stint as a Veterinary Technician, she decided that it was her passion for photography that really inspired her, and off she went to the Hallmark Institute. “It was like boot camp for photographers, very intense.” Over the course of 30 weeks, we were taught not only how to refine our natural talents, but the ‘business’ of photography.” Tani added.
In January of 2006, Dugger officially launched Insight Photography, a business specializing in weddings and portraiture photography. She and Insight Photography also offers such unique services as pregnancy (pre-natal) and pet photography. “I think it’s great when someone chooses to give a gift to their wife of a pre-natal sitting. What better memories can you give to someone than the evolution of their child’s life.” an exuberant Tani said.
On Tuesday, October 17, Tani will be presenting her work and services to the local Ludlow Chapter of Business Networking International (BNI). Business professionals are encouraged to attend the 7:00 AM meeting at the Comfort Inn, located at 321 Center Street in Ludlow and should bring plenty of business cards to share with the attendees. BNI is an organization that focuses on quality business referrals where members act as a sales team for their fellow chapter members. Founded over 18 years ago, BNI has rapidly grown to be the largest networking organization of its type.
